The successful candidate will be working closely with the Principal and Senior Leadership Team, the Head of Marketing and Community Engagement contributes to whole-of-College strategy, leads a specialist team, manages resources and external partners, and ensures high standards of professionalism, consistency, and impact across all areas of responsibility.
The Head of Marketing and Community Engagement is a member of the College’s Senior Leadership Team and reports to the Head of Operations. The role provides strategic leadership across marketing, communications, branding, enrolments, stakeholder engagement, community engagement, alumni relations, and public relations.
The position is responsible for developing and delivering an integrated strategy that strengthens the College’s reputation, supports sustainable enrolment growth, and fosters strong relationships with families, alumni, and the wider community.
Encompassing both high-level strategic thinking, as well as operational planning and execution, this position requires an ability to achieve overarching goals through effective day-to-day management of the functions that contribute to success, and an ability to work collaboratively across teams and business units – ensuring all communications and engagement activities are guided by the College’s mission and values.

About us
Valuable Shepherd is a co-educational Prep to Year 12 Lutheran College that serves the families of the breathtakingly beautiful Noosa district on the Sunshine Coast. Good Shepherd Lutheran College is situated on a 9.5hectare campus. The College has a total enrolment of approximately1110 students. Our College is part of the ministry of The Lutheran Church in Queensland and has strong ties to the Noosa Lutheran Parish. Good Shepherd has built a recognised record of both academic success and Christian care.
