You’ll be responsible for erecting, modifying and dismantling scaffolding systems in compliance with safety regulations, site requirements and project specifications. You'll work as part of a team, reporting directly to your leading hand and site supervisor. Power station outage work brings unique challenges, so adaptability and a strong safety-first mindset are essential.
Key responsibilities
- Safely erecting, modifying and dismantling scaffolding structures
- Collaborating with team members to meet outage and project timelines
- Adhering to all site and company safety regulations and protocols
- Interpreting plans, drawings and written instructions and complying with project specifications
- Meeting both quality and productivity targets
- Providing direction to team members as required
- Complying with company and site PPE requirements at all times
- Preparing and complying with JHAs, SWMS and permit requirements
- Maintaining a professional code of conduct in all dealings with clients and other contractors
- Participating in daily pre-starts, weekly toolbox meetings and other health and safety initiatives and training
About you
- High Risk Work Licence (Scaffolder Intermediate or Advanced)
- Construction Induction (White Card)
- Current Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets
- Asbestos Awareness and EWP tickets an advantage
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Ability to pass a full medical and police clearance
- Flexible and adaptable to changing environments and outage schedules
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability and teamwork
