Based in South Australia, we're looking for an experienced Welder to join our growing fabrication team. This is a full time, permanent position located in Gepps Cross, South Australia. Based on experience, the hourly rate will be between $35-$42 p/hour.

Responsibilities

- Perform high quality MIG welding on a variety of fabricated steel products and custom assemblies
- Interpret workshop drawings and specifications to accurately manufacture components to required tolerances
- Fabricate, assemble and finish products using mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium
- Operate welding, fabrication and finishing equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and customer requirements
- Work closely with laser operators, folders and production teams to achieve daily production targets




- Maintain weld quality and consistency across high volume manufacturing runs
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workplace at all times

Qualifications

- A trade qualification in Welding, fabrication or a related discipine
- Strong MIG welding experience
- The ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans
- Knowledge of sheet metal and fabrication processes
