ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking an experienced Sub Arc Welderto join our Moss Valeworkshop team. As a Sub Arc Welder, you will play a key role in the fabrication and manufacture of heavy engineering components. Working within a skilled and supportive team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding activities while maintaining safety and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Submerged Arc Welding
- Work from engineering drawings and welding procedures
- Conduct quality checks and maintain high workmanship standards
- Support workshop production activities as required
ABOUT YOU
Skills & Experience
- Proven Experience with Sub Arc Welding – Track and boom mounted
- Good manual welder FCAW and GMAW
- Multi-pass butt and fillet welds in thick material
- Air Carbon arc gouging experience
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
- Commitment to protected work practices
