About the Opportunity:
Armadale Health Service is establishing a recruitment pool for permanent full-time and permanent part-time Registered Midwives to join our Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) team under the WA Health Caseload Midwifery Annualised Salary Agreement (MASA).
Suitable applicants will be placed in a recruitment pool from which appointments may be made to current and future vacancies. This pool will remain valid until 30 April 2027.
We are seeking passionate, skilled, and motivated midwives who are committed to providing woman-centred continuity of care across the maternity journey. Opportunities are available within our Midwifery Group Practice teams, including our award-winning Boodjari Yorgas program, which provides culturally safe, continuity of care for Aboriginal women and families welcoming an Aboriginal baby.
In these roles, the successful applicants will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive evidence-based care to women and their families in addition to facilitating and promoting patient safety and quality of care. Successful applicants to the Registered Midwife role will:
- Practice within their scope of practice considerate of the Nursing and Midwifery Board’s Midwifery Practice Decision Flowchart.
- Provides direct caseload midwifery care in liaison with Clinical Midwives.
