We're looking for an energetic and driven Marketing Coordinator to join our Brand & Growth team and help deliver integrated marketing campaigns across WA Football and the WAFL.

This is an exciting opportunity for a marketer who thrives on variety, loves bringing ideas to life and wants to build their career at WA's largest state sporting organisation.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll work across everything from participation programs and community football through to WAFL competitions, major events, commercial partnerships and strategic growth initiatives.

About the Role

As Marketing Coordinator, you'll help bring WA Football's brands, products and programs to life through the planning, delivery and optimisation of marketing campaigns and content initiatives.

Working closely with stakeholders, agencies, designers, content producers and suppliers, you'll coordinate campaigns from concept through to execution and reporting.

You'll also play an important role in strengthening marketing collaboration across the WAFL competition, building strong relationships with club marketing teams and supporting initiatives that drive both club and league-wide objectives.

With exciting website improvements and UX projects planned, you'll help manage and enhance WA Football's digital presence, ensuring our websites continue to deliver engaging and user-friendly experiences for participants, clubs, supporters and stakeholders.

This role provides exposure to a broad range of marketing disciplines, including:

- Campaign planning and delivery
- Digital advertising
- Website management and optimisation
- Customer journey and conversion optimisation
- Content and social media marketing
- Email marketing




- Event marketing
- Creative production
- Market analysis and insights
- Campaign reporting and performance optimisation

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong marketing capability with enthusiasm, initiative and a genuine passion for delivering great work.

You'll be:

- Confident providing direction and feedback to designers, agencies and creative suppliers

- Passionate about Australian Rules Football, sport or sports/event marketing

What Will Set You Apart

Essential

- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline
- Minimum three years' experience in a similar marketing role
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, website management and campaign delivery

Highly Regarded

- Experience managing paid social, paid search and digital advertising campaigns
- Experience managing and maintaining websites using a CMS platform such as WordPress
- Experience contributing to website redesign, UX improvement or digital optimisation projects
- Understanding of customer journeys, conversion optimisation and website performance
- Experience working with web developers, digital agencies and external suppliers
- Experience briefing and collaborating with designers, videographers and content creators




- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into actionable recommendations
- Experience measuring, reporting and optimising campaign performance
- Proven ability to build and maintain productive stakeholder relationships
- Confidence managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Experience within sport, membership, events, community organisations or not-for-profit environments will be highly regarded.

- Ability to create engaging content for social media channels is desirable.

- Knowledge of the WA football landscape and WAFL competition is advantageous, but not essential.
