Stride Early Learning is a Perth-owned group of 12 childcare centers, due to growth we are looking for passionate, Diploma-qualified educators ready to step up and lead a room. Whether you are an experienced Room Leader or a confident Diploma educator ready for your first leadership role, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a designated room, ensuring a secure and engaging environment for children.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote learning and development.
- Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional growth.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and organisational policies.
- Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive and supportive learning community.
- Participate in ongoing career development and training opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
- Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles.
- Child Protection training (or willingness to complete it)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Working with Children Check clearance
