ZEEKR Essendon has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Assistant Accountant who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a high-performing team.

? About the Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will support the finance function across a variety of accounting and administrative responsibilities, including:

- Assisting with month-end and year-end processing
- Preparing and maintaining account reconciliations, including bank, stock, debtors and creditors
- Accurate data entry and maintenance of financial records
- Assisting in the preparation of Trial Balance, Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss reports
- Supporting BAS preparation and compliance requirements
- Assisting with cash flow reporting and budget tracking
- Supporting the preparation of monthly financial statements
- Maintaining fixed asset registers and asset management records
- Assisting with management reporting and financial analysis
- Ensuring financial documentation and records remain accurate and compliant

? About You





You are a motivated and detail-focused finance professional who enjoys working collaboratively and is keen to develop your accounting career. You'll bring:

- Previous experience in a finance, accounts or assistant accountant role
- Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using financial systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Progress towards or interest in pursuing CA/CPA studies (highly regarded)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline (completed or in progress)
