Our client is seeking a disciplined and reliable General Hand to join their galvanizing facility. This role is essential to the production cycle, ensuring steel components are processed efficiently and to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Material Preparation: Securely wiring and jigging steel products for the galvanizing process.
- Surface Finishing: Utilizing grinders and hand tools to remove excess zinc and ensure a smooth, compliant finish.
- Quality Assurance: Inspecting materials pre- and post-treatment for defects.
- Logistics: Organising, stacking, and palletising finished goods for dispatch.
- Safety Compliance: Adhering strictly to OHS protocols and maintaining a clean industrial workspace.

Candidate Requirements

- Physical Capability: Ability to perform manual labour in a heavy industrial environment.




- Technical Aptitude: Previous experience with power tools (grinders/sanders) is highly regarded.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Safety Awareness: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and wearing required PPE.
