Member Engagement Manager
The Pharmacy Guild of Australia NT Branch is looking for a motivated professional who is passionate about community pharmacy and wants to help shape its future across the Northern Territory.
This is a unique opportunity to move beyond a traditional operational role and build a rewarding career supporting pharmacy owners, pharmacy teams and the broader community pharmacy sector.
Whether you've worked in community pharmacy, healthcare, pharmacy supply and logistics, health administration, or another pharmacy-related field, we'd love to hear from you.
Working closely with the Branch Director, you'll support member pharmacies across the Territory, helping them access Guild services, workplace relations support, pharmacy programs and quality improvement initiatives.
No previous experience in workplace relations, member services or quality programs is required. We're looking for someone with strong people skills, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in supporting community pharmacy. Mentoring, training and ongoing support will be provided to help you succeed in the role.
This full time ongoing position is based in our Darwin Waterfront office.
About the Role
You'll:
- Build strong relationships with pharmacy owners and pharmacy teams.
- Visit pharmacies across the Northern Territory.
- Support member enquiries and connect members with specialist Guild services.
- Assist pharmacies with QSPP and other quality improvement activities.
- Develop member communications, e-news content and social media updates.
- Identify emerging issues and opportunities affecting community pharmacy.
- Contribute to projects and initiatives that support NT pharmacies.
Essential Requirements
- Current right to work in Australia.
- Minimum two years' experience working in health, community pharmacy preferred.
- Current unrestricted driver's licence and access to reliable transport.
- Willingness to travel within the Top End, with occasional travel to Alice Springs and interstate for meetings, training and industry events.
