Bring your logistics and people leadership experience to One Harvest's Bairnsdale site. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will support daily operations and help develop a capable team.

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on Logistics Supervisor to join our Bairnsdale team. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of site logistics, supervise team activities and help ensure stock and transport movements meet production and customer requirements.

Working closely with Planning, Operations and Technical teams, you will help maintain safe, efficient operations, with a focus on food safety, inventory accuracy, cost control and delivering orders in full and on time.

A day in the life

- Support the Logistics Manager in delivering the site logistics plan and meeting operational targets.
- Supervise daily team activities through Team Leaders, providing practical support, coaching and clear direction.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound movements with internal teams and transport providers to meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and oversee CHEP stock reconciliation, equipment tracking and weekly audits.




- Allocate labour within agreed plans, responding to changing production requirements and escalating resource gaps.
- Monitor daily service performance, address operational issues and escalate concerns to the Logistics Manager.
- Reinforce workplace safety, GMP and HACCP requirements, supporting investigations and corrective actions with the Technical team.
- Implement continuous improvement and 5S activities, and assist with warehouse management system and automation projects under the Logistics Manager's direction.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

- Supervisory experience in FMCG, manufacturing or a similar industry, ideally within logistics.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach, motivate and manage team performance.
- Experience coordinating logistics operations, inventory control and transport activities.
- Knowledge of GMP, food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
- A practical understanding of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods, including 5S.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to use KPIs and operational data to improve performance and manage costs.




- Solid planning and problem-solving skills, with the flexibility to respond to changing priorities.
- Clear communication and relationship-building skills, with a hands-on approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Confidence using operational software and learning new systems.
- A supply chain degree would be highly regarded but is not essential.
