We’re looking for an experienced Shift Supervisor to take ownership of afternoon-shift operations for a well-established leader in packaging and plastics manufacturing.

This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll be responsible for driving production, safety, quality, team performance and operational efficiency while working alongside an experienced manufacturing team.

The Opportunity Reporting to the Production Coordinator, you’ll lead the production team throughout the afternoon shift, ensuring people, equipment and production processes are working effectively to deliver daily targets.

You’ll be visible on the floor, supporting your team, identifying issues early and helping drive improvements across the operation.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Supervise, allocate and support production employees
- Drive production schedules, output and quality targets
- Monitor machinery, processes, changeovers and downtime
- Ensure safety, housekeeping, TPM and quality checks are completed
- Coordinate material movement throughout the production area
- Record breakdowns, downtime and production issues
- Work closely with maintenance to improve equipment reliability
- Complete production, quality and safety documentation
- Assist with investigations, problem solving and continuous improvement
- Support rostering,



attendance and employee performance
- Participate in daily production and planning meetings
- Build a positive, accountable and safety-focused team culture

What We’re Looking For You’ll ideally bring:

- 5+ years’ experience in plastics or manufacturing
- Previous experience leading or supervising production teams
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment
- Good mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
- Confident communication and people leadership skills
- A hands-on approach and strong work ethic
- A genuine commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
