About the role

Emporio Pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our team on a part-time basis in our Maroochydore, Queensland location. You would be working each Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm and alternate Saturdays 9:00am - 12:00pm. This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your pharmaceutical expertise in a community pharmacy setting, providing high-quality patient care and professional services. As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, whilst contributing to the overall health and wellbeing of our local community.

Key responsibilities

- Dispense medications accurately and safely, ensuring compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements

- Provide professional advice to customers regarding medication use, interactions, and side effects

- Support pharmacy operations, including stock control, ordering, and inventory management

- Maintain detailed patient records and ensure confidentiality and data protection

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including GPs and nurses, to optimise patient outcomes

- Ensure compliance with pharmacy legislation, regulations, and qualified standards

- Support and supervise pharmacy staff and trainees as required

- Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures

What we're looking for

- Current registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia

- Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia

- Proven experience working as a Pharmacist in a community pharmacy setting

- Strong knowledge of medications, drug interactions, and therapeutic guidelines

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals

- Demonstrated competency in pharmacy dispensing systems and point-of-sale software





- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

- Strong organisational and time management skills

- Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining professional standards

- Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it
