Student Support Officer – Education & Training

Location: Morley

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: Competitive base salary + KPI incentives

About the Role

Training Alliance Group (TAG) is looking for a highly organised and motivated Student Support Officer to join our team in Morley. This is a hands-on administration role supporting students and participants across our Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and Employment Skills Training (EST) programs. You’ll be an important part of keeping our programs running smoothly — from enrolments and student records through to attendance, reporting, compliance documentation and day-to-day support for our trainers and coaches. You’ll work closely with students, participants, trainers, coaches, management, and external stakeholders, helping ensure our administration is accurate, our records are up to date, and our programs meet regulatory and funding requirements. As a Student Support Officer, you will:

- Process student and participant enrolments and ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate




- Maintain accurate student and program records across electronic and hard-copy systems
- Provide administration and operational support throughout the student and participant lifecycle
- Assist with RTO and EST compliance, reporting, and audit requirements
- Support attendance tracking, claims documentation and program reporting
- Respond to student, participant, and stakeholder enquiries professionally and promptly
- Communicate with students, guardians, trainers, coaches, stakeholders, and management as required
- Manage inboxes, calendars, data entry, and general administrative tasks
- Support trainers and coaches with program-related administrative and system queries
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and the student experience

About You

We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable, detail-focused, and proactive. You’ll ideally have:

- Strong administration experience, preferably in RTOs, employment services, education, training, or another compliance-driven environment
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
- Confidence working with Microsoft Office 365, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines without losing attention to detail
- Confidence learning and working across multiple systems
- A professional, positive, and approachable communication style
- The ability to work collaboratively while also taking responsibility for your own workload
- A proactive, practical, and solution-focused approach
- The flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and learn current skills

Experience with any of the following would be highly regarded:

- RTO administration and compliance




- aXcelerate or another student management system
- Workforce Australia Online
- Employment services or government-funded programs
- Supporting audits, claims or funding-related documentation
- Education, training, or other compliance-driven environments

To Be Considered, You Will Need To:

- Full Australian working rights
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Check
- Have, or be willing to obtain, a Working with Children Check
- Have, or be willing to set up, a myID account (formerly myGovID)
