Key responsibilities
- Conduct a range of neurodevelopmental assessments such as ADHD, ASD & SLD for clients of all ages
- Developmental history taking, direct observation, and the administration of specific psychometric instruments
- Provide detailed & thorough diagnostic formulation & reports, interpreting results and then providing feedback to clients & families
- Provide support, education, and guidance to families and caregivers, helping them understand the diagnosis and support options available
- Liaising with paediatricians, psychiatrists and allied health professionals to support coordinated care
Key selection criteria
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Psychologist or eligibility to practise as a Provisional Psychologist.
- Experience conducting psychological assessments, or a genuine interest in developing your assessment capabilities.
- An understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions and evidence-based psychological interventions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families and colleagues.
- A collaborative approach and an appreciation for multidisciplinary, family-centred care.
- A commitment to ethical practice, ongoing learning and delivering high-quality clinical services.
