About the role

Belle Banne Conveyor Products is seeking an experienced Pilbara Contract & Account Manager to be our visible contact representative and primary escalation point across our contracted Rio Tinto sites. This is a practical, customer-facing role for someone who understands fixed-plant maintenance, knows how work is achieved on a mine/port site and can manage labour-provider performance without taking over its day-to-day management.

You will work closely with our General Manager and embedded engineering resource. You will own customer relationships, site coverage, service escalation, contractor performance, meetings and opportunity progression. You will work alongside BBCP engineering who will lead detailed technical analysis, trials and engineering recommendations.

Working Arrangements: The role may be Pilbara residential or Perth-based FIFO. Most work is completed during normal site business hours while liaising with planners, schedulers and coordinators. Reasonable availability for urgent escalation and planned attendance during shutdowns is required.

What you will do

- Maintain a visible BBCP on-site presence across three Pilbara site groups.





- Act as the first escalation point for site-service issues, establish facts and drive actions through to a documented outcome.

- Attend customer contract-management meetings at site and quarterly meetings in Perth, supported by accurate performance information.

- Review shift and swing reports for completeness and accuracy, follow up material issues and identify recurring themes and emerging trends.

- Monitor subcontractor performance against agreed service requirements and contractual KPIs, escalating and following through on gaps in coverage, workmanship, reporting and corrective actions.

- Maintain a live action register, monthly report, visitation and meeting schedule, and qualified opportunity pipeline.

- Participate in field observations, follow up on incidents and corrective actions.

- Identify off-contract applications and continuous-improvement opportunities, then bring clear customer requirements to BBCP engineering for development and quotation.

- Support planned shutdowns through visible site attendance and liaison with planners, schedulers and shutdown supervisors.

What you will bring

- Strong site credibility gained in mining, fixed-plant maintenance, conveyor maintenance, site services or a similar operational environment.

- Experience supervising trades or labour, managing contractors or holding a service provider accountable for delivery and customer outcomes.

- Confidence to address performance gaps, inconsistent information and difficult issues clearly and professionally.

- Solid written and verbal communication, sound organisation and follow through.





- Commercial awareness and experience using ERP systems to understand labour orders, quotations, variations, payments and invoices.

- Competence with Microsoft Office, confidence preparing reports, meeting records and customer correspondence.

- Current driver’s licence and ability to meet D&A; screening requirements, meet site medical requirements, customer inductions and site-access requirements.

Product Knowledge

- Scraper-specific experience is not required. BBCP will provide product familiarisation through our engineering team and site exposure. Experience with conveyor systems or broader fixed plant maintenance will provide the foundation needed to build credibility quickly.

Highly Regarded

- Mechanical trade, engineering or equivalent technical qualification.

- Fixed-plant or conveyor maintenance experience.

- Contract management experience involving labour service delivery.

- Rio Tinto or other Tier 1 mining supply experience.

- An established network across the Pilbara Mining Sector.

- Experience identifying continuous improvement or account growth opportunities.
