Electrical Supervisor – Residential Maintenance

We’re growing — and we’re looking for a experienced Electrical Supervisor to join the team.

With 25 years in business, we’ve built an established Melbourne plumbing and electrical company with a strong pipeline of residential work. Our electrical team currently includes five qualified A Grade electricians and four electrical apprentices, and we’re ready for a capable supervisor to help guide the division as it grows.

We’re not simply looking for someone with a licence.

We want an electrician who can fault-find, think through a job, produce quality work, communicate confidently with customers and take pride in getting things right.

The Role

This is a hands on role for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, setting clear standards and helping their team deliver quality work.

You’ll work closely with the Electrical Department Manager to oversee maintenance and installation work, provide technical guidance and work closely with our office team to keep jobs running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and supporting our qualified electricians and apprentices

- Providing technical guidance on fault finding, diagnostics and complex jobs

- Overseeing workmanship, safety, compliance and job completion

- Carrying out residential electrical work when required

- Supporting job planning, preparation and coordination with the office team

- Reviewing job documentation and ensuring accurate completion





- Mentoring apprentices and developing the team’s technical capability

- Helping resolve customer concerns professionally

- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, service quality and team performance

The team’s work includes electrical repairs, switchboard upgrades, safety inspections, fault finding, installations and replacement work.

We want someone who leads by example, takes ownership and earns the team’s respect through their knowledge, consistency and approach.

We’d Like to Hear From You If You:

- Hold a current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence

- Have solid residential electrical experience

- Have experience supervising, mentoring or leading electricians and apprentices

- Communicate clearly with customers, technicians and office staff

- Can prioritise work and make sound decisions under pressure

- Are comfortable giving constructive feedback and holding people accountable

- Take responsibility for outcomes and follow through on commitments

- Hold a current Victorian driver’s licence

Residential maintenance experience is highly regarded, but if you’re a strong A-Grade electrician with transferable experience and the right attitude, we still want to hear from you.
