About the role

As a Field Service Technician in the Customer Service division, you will keep automation equipment running at customer sites. You will carry out scheduled planned preventative maintenance (PPM), respond to breakdowns and callouts, and provide coverage at resident sites when team members are away. You will report to the Team Leader.

Key responsibilities

- Plan and carry out PPM on automation equipment according to schedule

- Carry out breakdown maintenance and respond to callouts

- Repair and replace components where required

- Support daily operations at customer sites during incidents

- Provide coverage at resident sites across the Australian market area





- Create service reports and SOPs

- Contribute to continuous improvement and optimisation of systems and processes

- Assist the mechanical and installation team when required

- Adhere to health and safety regulations, policies and procedures

- Communicate regularly with your manager and team to maintain continuity of service

- Take part in training and development locally, interstate and overseas

About you

- Electrical or mechanical trade qualification

- Full driver's licence and the ability to operate a vehicle for business purposes

- Willingness to travel locally, interstate and overseas as required

- Ability to work independently, and to adapt to changing situations

- Positive Microsoft Office skills

- Willingness to learn and complete training on the company's processes, systems and components

- A team-oriented, solutions-focused approach, with a willingness to share knowledge

Desirable

- Full electrical certification

- Knowledge of PLCs

- Experience with automated equipment
