ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re building the team that will bring the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2028 to life, and we’re looking for a Ticketing Operations Coordinator (Australia) to support the planning and delivery of ticketing operations across the tournament. This is a unique opportunity to play a hands-on role across the ticketing program, from planning and sales preparation through to venue readiness and tournament-time delivery.

Working closely with the Ticketing Operations Managers and wider Ticketing team,

you’ll provide day-to-day support across ticketing systems, event builds, inventory management, ticket fulfilment, sales launches and key ticketing milestones. You’ll also support stakeholder ticket allocations, maintain accurate records and reporting, and help identify and resolve operational issues.

Partnering with the appointed ticketing supplier, venues and teams across the LOC, you’ll help prepare allocated venues for tournament delivery and support match-day ticketing operations, including box office, ticket resolution, access control and customer service. While primarily focused on activities and venues within your host country, you may also support ticketing operations across New Zealand as required.

Based in Australia, this is a maximum term opportunity until November 2028.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Minimum 2–3 years’ relevant experience in ticketing operations, venue ticketing, major events or a related operational environment.

- Hands-on experience using ticketing systems and supporting ticketing operations.

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

- Robust communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.

- A practical, flexible and team-focused approach,

with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and operational requirements.

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver accurate work within fixed timeframes.

- Willingness to travel across Australia and New Zealand and work evenings, weekends and extended hours during key delivery periods.

- Right to work in Australia.

Highly desirable

- Experience working on a major sporting event or multi-venue event.

- Experience supporting ticketing event builds, inventory management and/or stakeholder ticketing.

- Experience with digital ticketing and venue access-control systems.

- Knowledge of the Australian and/or New Zealand venue and ticketing environment.
