The Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Structural Draftee to join our well-established team.

This role is ideal for someone with practical structural drafting experience who is confident using Revit and ready to contribute to live projects from day one.

You will be involved in a diverse range of projects across multiple sectors, working closely with our engineers and experienced BIM team to produce high-quality structural drawings and documentation. This is a hands-on project delivery role with plenty of opportunity to continue developing your skills in a collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Produce structural drawings and detailed documentation across a diverse range of projects.

- Prepare and update structural models, plans, sections and details using Revit.

- Interpret engineering mark-ups,



architectural drawings and project information accurately.

- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure design accuracy and coordinated documentation.

- Update and modify drawings efficiently based on project changes and feedback.

- Manage allocated drafting tasks and meet agreed project deadlines.

- Maintain a high standard of drawing quality and follow BOT’s established drafting and BIM standards.

Skills and Qualifications

- Around 3 years’ experience in structural drafting/modelling or a related role.

- Practical Revit experience is essential.

- Experience producing structural documentation within an engineering consultancy environment is highly regarded.

- Ability to interpret engineering mark-ups and architectural drawings.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Good time management skills and the ability to progress allocated work with appropriate independence.

- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to learning.
