The Chance

Legeneering is looking for a motivated, well-organised Project Coordinator to join our Oil & Gas projects team. The team delivers structural, piping and mechanical scopes on FPSOs, fixed platforms, marine assets and Onshore sites for Tier 1 operators.

This role covers the whole project lifecycle. It starts when an RFQ lands and runs through FEED, detailed design and engineering, fabrication and offshore execution, finishing with close-out and invoicing. You will drive the commercial, technical and logistical coordination that turns a client enquiry into a safely delivered, fully closed-out project.

You will report to the Project Manager and work day to day with our engineers, drafters, technical writers, welding coordinator, workshop, mobilisation and project controls teams. You will also deal directly with clients, vendors and Classification Societies.

Duties and Responsibilities

Tender, RFQ and Proposal

- Register and track incoming RFQs, and coordinate site data, drawings and technical queries with the client.

- Support preparation of quotes and proposals, including estimates, labour build-ups, vendor and workshop pricing, schedules, assumptions and exclusions.

- Track quotes through submission, clarification and award.

Design and Engineering

- Coordinate detailed design deliverables with internal and third-party engineers and drafters, including calculations, Piping and Structural design drawings,



load-test procedures and design reports.

- Manage document control, transmittals and revision status through internal Technical Authority review and client / Classification Society review to approval.

- Track technical queries, deviations and client comments to closure, and confirm scope freeze before execution.

Procurement and Fabrication

- Manage the quote-to-purchase-order cycle for materials, fabrication, tooling, consumables and third-party services.

- Work with our Workshop team to deliver all aspects of the Fabrication cycle and documentation.

- Work with our Welding Coordinator to develop and gain sign-off of ITPs, weld procedures and welder qualifications. Compile Manufacturer's Data Records (MDRs) and close out hold and witness points.

- Arrange third-party inspection, load testing and T4 certification of tooling, lifting equipment and fabricated items.

Offshore Execution Readiness and Mobilisation

- Coordinate workpack development with the Technical Writer through review to Rev 0 sign-off.

- Review campaign requirements across equipment, tooling, consumables, labour and competencies, and close out any gaps, including training through Learning & Development.

- Confirm POB availability and execution dates with the client, submit mobilisation requests, and coordinate personnel, flights and freight with the Mobilisation team.

Execution, Close-out and Commercial

- Support the offshore campaign. Identify scope variations, prepare variation quotes and track variation POs so work continues without delay.

- Coordinate demobilisation, as-built documentation, completion records and job close-outs.





- Work with Project Controls to raise invoices and progress them through client sign-off and submission.

Project Controls and Reporting

- Keep the project tracker and records complete and current across all live jobs, from RFQ through to completion.

- Report schedule, cost, commercial and status information accurately to the Project Manager.

- Identify, manage and escalate risks, and contribute to lessons-learnt reviews.

- Promote safe work and QHSE compliance across all project phases.

Minimum Requirements

- Project Management, Engineering or Trade qualification.

- 3+ years' project coordination or project engineering experience in oil and gas, marine or mining, ideally in a contracting environment that covers design through to delivery.

- Working knowledge of engineering document control, procurement, fabrication QA (ITPs, MDRs) and offshore campaign preparation.

- Exposure to Classification Society (Lloyd's Register / ABS / DNV) requirements is highly regarded.

- Demonstrated ability to manage the commercial cycle on your own projects: quotes, POs, variations and invoicing.

- Strong organisation and communication skills. You must be able to run multiple concurrent jobs at different stages and coordinate across disciplines.

- Participation in company QHSE programs, active participation in cultural engagement, and completion of the cultural safety training package.

Highly Regarded

- Offshore experience or a current offshore medical, BOSIET/FOET and MSIC.

- Experience with ERP systems (M1 or similar) and strong Excel skills.
