Irrigation Field Service Technician

Blackley Pipelines and Irrigation are a family owned and operated business specializing in irrigation and mining projects statewide.

We are currently seeking a full time Irrigation Field Service Technician to join our team based out of our Hobart branch.

This is a full time position that includes above award wages, a company vehicle and a great environment for the right people.

Key responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:

- Providing outstanding service and quality to our recent and existing clients

- Installing pipelines (both PVC and HDPE)

- Vineyard projects and maintenance

- Building Reinke pivot irrigators

- Servicing centre pivot and lateral move irrigators of every brand

- Hard hose and soft hose irrigator maintenance

- Installing and maintaining pump stations in a range of applications





- Poly welding on a range of machines

- Maintenance of existing systems

- Occasionally working away from home as required

Desirable attributes for the position are as follows:

- People that possess a can-do attitude, can solve problems, can work unsupervised and have a customer focused personality

- Qualifications in poly welding, excavator, tele handler, chainsaw operations, a first aid ticket

- Must be physically fit
