About the role
We are seeking an experienced Embryologist to join our dedicated laboratory team at Fertility North. Following recent internal promotions, our laboratory is entering an exciting period of growth and positive transformation. This presents an opportunity for a skilled professional who brings technical excellence, a collaborative mindset, a commitment to continuous learning, and genuine enthusiasm for contributing to a high-performing team culture.
Key responsibilities
- Undertake a full range of embryology duties including ICSI, IVF and vitrification
- Work collaboratively with fertility specialists, nurses and scientists to optimise patient outcomes
- Maintain meticulous documentation and strict adherence to laboratory protocols
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and ongoing advancements in lab practice
- Participate in a weekend and public holiday roster
About you
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a clinical embryology setting
- Expertise in clinical human embryology services (IVF, ICSI, embryo culture, cryopreservation and andrology)
- Expertise in embryo biopsy advantageous but not required
- A degree in Biological/Health Science
- Exceptional attention to detail and laboratory accuracy
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- A deep commitment to quality, safety and compassionate care
