The role is responsible for:
• Providing transport to and from the centre in vehicles provided by Southern Districts Support
• Assisting the Lifestyle Centre Coordinator in designing quality activities and programmes that follow industry best practice, are inclusive, meet a broad range of individual choices and emphasise individual focused service and outcomes
• Implementing activities on a daily basis ensuring participation by clients, and providing relevant feedback
• Assisting clients with activities of daily living as required
• Completion of documentation as required
We are looking for someone who has the following:
• Drive and enthusiasm to provide outstanding supports in a centre based setting
• Certificate III in Aged Care and at least two years' experience in a similar centre based setting
• Current First Aid certificate (or willing to obtain one)
• A valid full (non provisional) driving licence
• NDIS Screening Check
You must be available to work at least 3 days a week, 8:30am to 4pm and be available to relieve for sickness and holidays.
