Your New Role

Start or grow your HR career with AFG, a national ASX-listed business. This role suits a recent HR graduate or an experienced HR coordinator looking to broaden their skills. You'll be mentored by a team of HR professionals who are keen to share their knowledge and support your development.

Reporting to the Head of People Operations from our Perth head office, you'll provide administrative support across the employee lifecycle and gain exposure to a wide range of HR functions. Our team is collaborative and close-knit, and we value people who deliver exceptional service.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating recruitment, including approvals, role advertising, candidate shortlisting, interview scheduling and participation, pre-employment checks and contract generation.

- Facilitating employee onboarding, induction and probation reviews.

- Administering employee lifecycle changes, including parental leave, flexible work agreements, transfers, secondments and role progressions.

- Supporting employee termination and separation processes.

- Assisting with OHS documentation.

- Providing first-line support for HR queries, including advice on policy and contract interpretation.

- Participating in and supporting HR initiatives and programs.

- Assisting with HR and statutory reporting as required.

About You

You deliver exceptional customer service and build strong working relationships. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities and bring a flexible, proactive attitude. You'll have the chance to get involved in a variety of projects,



and we encourage you to share your ideas.

You will have:

- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.

- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to maintaining service standards.

- Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and work accurately with attention to detail.

- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

- Solid problem-solving skills and initiative.

- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and strong research skills.

- The ability to stay calm under pressure and contribute to a positive team workplace.
