About the role

The HSEQ Advisor is the subject matter expert for HSEQ across specified operational contracts. You will work alongside Contract Managers, Facilities Managers and the Contracts Support team, attending customer sites, taking part in Operations team meetings and providing training and coaching to both the internal team and customers.

Key responsibilities include:

- Ensure the HSEQ component of service delivery meets client KPIs and service level expectations, including HSEQ inputs to customer reports
- Champion and maintain the Integrated Management System across ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001, supporting audits and certification
- Lead incident investigation and reporting through the HSEQ Portal, including root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions
- Conduct contractor prequalification, inductions and operational audits, and proactively manage unsatisfactory performance
- Support Contract Managers with risk assessments of new or changed processes and facilities, and assist with workplace inspections
- Deliver HSE training,



coaching and legislative updates to Contract Managers, staff and customers, and support the Bid Team as the Health and Safety SME

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A qualification in OH&S;, ideally at Diploma level or above
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an HSE role, ideally within a services based or multi site facilities management workplace
- Comprehensive knowledge of the OHS Act, Regulations, Codes of Practice, WorkCover and Return to Work requirements
- Experience implementing and auditing ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 management systems
- Practical incident investigation and root cause analysis experience (ICAM training highly regarded)
- Experience reviewing SOPs, SWMS and JSAs and applying the hierarchy of controls
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to drive cultural change and build strong client relationships at all levels
