We are looking for a Summer Casual that is friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Retail sales assistant to join our team. We have 10-15 hours available & you must be flexible and available Saturdays. As a key part of the store's front-line staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, processing transactions, assist with handling, packing, and preparing fresh fish and seafood products. Also ensuring the store is clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering product inquiries, and offering product recommendations.

- Sales Support: Actively engage with customers to drive sales, meet daily targets, and up sell/promote products when appropriate.

- Stock Management: Assist with receiving, organizing, and replenishing stock on the sales floor, ensuring that displays are well-maintained and products are easy to locate.

- Visual Merchandising: Ensure that store displays are tidy, visually appealing, and fully stocked in line with company standards.

- Point of Sale: Operate the cash register, process transactions, handle payments, and manage returns.

- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the store's product range,



promotions, and services to assist customers effectively and enhance sales.

- Store Cleanliness: Keep the sales floor, stockroom, and customer areas clean and organized.

- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth store operations and a harmonious work workplace.

- Compliance: Follow store policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to safety standards and company guidelines.

Experience & Qualifications:

- Retail experience and customer service would be ideal, however is not necessary as training is provided.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

- Must be flexible to do afternoon closing shifts, Saturdays until 12:30pm, and holidays as required.
