About the role

Based in Melbourne Office, the Operations Manager will lead a small operations team (4–5 members) and take full responsibility for daily operational management, performance improvement, cost control, and service provider oversight.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee and participate in daily operational activities, ensuring smooth execution of logistics and warehouse processes
- Review operational data and generate performance reports
- Monitor service levels, shipment timelines, and issue resolution
- Step in to resolve complex operational issues when necessary
- Directly manage and support a team, allocate tasks and set explicit performance expectations
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews
- Provide coaching and hands-on training to improve team capability
- Manage operational budgets and cost structures
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality




- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement practical improvements

About you

- 5+ years experience in logistics / freight forwarding / courier / e-commerce fulfilment operations
- Previous team leadership experience
- Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting
- Hands-on, problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
- Have rights to live and work in Australia
