The role

Carry out diagnostics, servicing, testing and repairs across underground electrical equipment and infrastructure, including:

- Underground drill rigs and associated electrical systems
- Underground substations, transformers and switchgear
- Electrical distribution boxes
- Cable runs and underground power distribution




- Planned maintenance and breakdown fault-finding
- HV switching and isolations within your site authorisations

Requirements

- Australian-recognised Electrotechnology trade qualification
- Current WA Electrical Licence
- HV switching ticket and practical experience
- Previous underground mining electrical experience
- Robust diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Current manual driver’s licence
- Full Australian working rights
- Current National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
- A strong commitment to safety and working as part of a team
