Perform GTAW and GMAW welding and welding-related activities including fit-up using jigs/fixtures or manual workholding to fabricate equipment classified as pressure piping or pressure vessel and related components.
Interpret specifications, engineering drawings, and work orders. Communicate effectively about technical requirements
Strictly observe the Weld Procedure Specifications issued for the work
Prepare ASME BPVC IX Welder Qualification Test Coupons for Welding Performance Qualification and certification by Ulbrec in applicable pressure equipment carbon and stainless steels, diameters and thicknesses.
Strictly observe ULBREC rules regarding the recording of quality data and materials control
Work effectively with the team in the fabrication or welding of multi-component equipment
Cross-train and perform other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned tasks
