We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Finance Officer to join our growing group of businesses in a standalone position. The role will be part time with flexible hours. However opportunities for Full time will be considered for the right candidate.
You will have ownership of the day-to-day financial administration across multiple businesses, working directly with management to ensure our accounts are accurate, payments and invoicing are managed efficiently, and financial processes are properly controlled.
Key responsibilities
Managing Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
Supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations
Business to business invoicing and follow-up
Processing and reconciling settlements
Bank and account reconciliations
Maintaining accounts in Xero
Conducting internal financial audits and identifying discrepancies
Reconciling information across multiple business management systems
Assisting with reporting, month-end processes and cash flow monitoring
Maintaining accurate financial records across multiple businesses/sites
About you
3+ years' bookkeeping or finance experience
Strong Xero experience
Proven AP/AR and reconciliation experience
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
Experience working across multiple businesses, entities or locations
Confident learning and using different software systems
Experience with accounting, inventory or other business management software will be highly regarded
History of working in health care will be highly regarded
