GoAllan Services is seeking a reliable Pick Packer for ongoing work with a meat production business in Moorabbin. This role involves picking, packing and preparing meat products for dispatch to stores across Victoria and interstate. You’ll be working in a cool-room setting and will need to be comfortable working in cold conditions. Accuracy is important in this role, as you’ll be working from picking lists and making sure the correct products, quantities, weights and labels are prepared for each order. Previous pick-packing, food production or similar experience would be an advantage, but is not essential. Training will be provided for the right person. Your duties may include: • Picking products according to order and picking lists • Checking products, quantities, weights and product details • Packing orders accurately for local and interstate dispatch • Labelling products and cartons as required • Handling packaged meat products including ham, salami, sausages, mince and other smallgoods • Organising completed orders and preparing them for dispatch • General pick-packing and cool-room duties as required • Following food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures What we’re looking for:



• Positive practical literacy and numeracy skills • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to read and follow picking lists correctly • Reliable and punctual for 5:00am starts • Reliable transport to Moorabbin • Comfortable working in a cool-room environment • Willingness to learn and work as part of a team • Looking for reliable, ongoing work • Previous pick-packing or food production experience would be an advantage • An interest in the meat or food production industry would be an advantage While this position is less physically demanding than a general production labouring role, you’ll still be on your feet and handling products, tubs and cartons throughout the shift. What’s provided: • $33.25 per hour + super • Ongoing casual work • Monday to Friday roster • Training provided • Full PPE supplied on site Applicants must have full Australian work rights with no work-hour restrictions and be available for the agreed roster on an ongoing basis.
