Corporate M&A; and Capital Markets Lawyer - Sydney

A leading independent Australian firm is seeking a talented Lawyer to join its highly regarded Corporate practice in Sydney.

This is an outstanding chance to join a growing team acting on impactful, market-shaping M&A;, IPOs and capital raisings for domestic and global clients in technology, fintech, health, financial services and retail. The successful candidate will take a lead role on transactions, deal directly with clients and work closely with industry-leading partners known for bringing companies to scale.

The Role
Playing a lead role on Australian and cross-border corporate transactions, including mergers & acquisitions.
Acting on capital raisings, IPOs and other equity capital markets transactions.
Advising on strategic corporate matters, governance, shareholder activism and the ASX Listing Rules.
Building direct client relationships with support from the partners.
Working with high-growth organisations on long-term client partnerships.

About you
3+ years' post-qualification experience within a distinguished corporate law practice.




Equity capital markets experience (highly desirable but not required).
Well-developed project management skills and the ability to drive tasks with autonomy.
Strong commercial acumen and a proven record of building client relationships.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a cooperative approach.
A commitment to continuous learning.
