Whelan Lawyers is seeking a Commercial Lawyer with 4–5 years’ post admission experience to join our growing Melbourne based team.
This is a primarily remote role offering genuine flexibility, autonomy and direct client relationships , without the traditional office workplace or six minute time recording.
The role
You’ll manage a varied commercial practice, working directly with clients across:
Commercial contracts and agreements
Business sales and acquisitions
Corporate advisory
Employment matters
Commercial and retail leasing
Franchising
Disputes and litigation
You’ll have the opportunity to run your own matters, advise clients directly and take ownership of your work.
About you
Has 4–5 years PAE
Has strong commercial law experience
Is confident working autonomously
Has excellent drafting and negotiation skills
Provides practical, commercially focused advice
Communicates confidently with clients
Is organised, proactive and detail oriented
Enjoys using technology to work smarter
What we offer
$120,000–$130,000 + superannuation
