About the role

The Mencarthy Pub Group is looking for fulltime chefs to join our teams across our hotel group. The successful applicant will be required to assist in day-to-day operations including meal preparation, ordering, rostering, training and communicating with front of house management.

Key responsibilities
Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
Follow recipes and presentation specifications
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Oversee and manage kitchen operations
Clean and organise kitchen and equipment in adherence to hygiene and safety regulations
Preserve and store foodstuffs in appropriate temperature-controlled facilities
Train apprentices and other kitchen staff

About you
At least two years' experience in a similar role
Minimum of a Certificate 3 in cooking
