Vuly Play is a Brisbane-born outdoor play company with a global footprint. Our founder's family office covers family trusts, an SMSF and a growing property portfolio, and we're looking for a sharp, discreet Management Accountant to keep it all organised, compliant and ready for decisions.

You'll sit within the Vuly Finance team, reporting to our Finance Manager, and be the go-to person for everything finance across the family office.

What you'll actually do

Run the monthly close and deliver management accounts and forecasts using our established reporting template

Keep the books for trusts, holding and investment entities and the SMSF, including reconciliations, accruals and coding

Prepare payments, manage bank accounts, cards and loans, and handle banking paperwork

Own the compliance calendar: BAS, tax, SMSF, ASIC, land tax and rates, all lodged on time

Make sure every GST credit, deduction and refund is claimed

Track the true holding cost of each property and support sales, renovations and reinvestment analysis

Maintain asset, insurance and legal document registers, and manage renewals

Be the single point of contact for accountants, solicitors,



brokers and banks

What you'll bring

3–5+ years in management accounting, including month-end, reconciliations, AP and BAS/GST

Experience across multiple entity types (individuals, trusts, companies and/or SMSF)

Working knowledge of SMSF administration, STP and SuperStream

Solid Excel and Xero or MYOB skills

Cert IV in Accounting or Bookkeeping, or a degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce

Excellent attention to detail and complete discretion

CPA or CA (or working towards)

Family office, private wealth or private client experience

Experience working directly for a founder or business owner

Exposure to property portfolios, private group tax (trust distributions, Div 7A, FBT) and international payments
