Coordinator:
Quality
&
Safety
to
champion excellence across our
organisation.
Based
in
Rockhampton,
this
pivotal
leadership
role
will
guide
our
quality,
compliance
and
safety
systems,
ensuring
we
continue
to
deliver
high-quality,
person-centred
services
while
fostering
a
culture
where
both
participants
and
staff
can
thrive.

What
will a typical day look like?
Lead the
development and implementation of the Quality and Safety
Framework.
Coordinator
internal and external audits, accreditation and corrective
actions.
Identify risks,
lead incident investigations, and conduct roost cause
analysis.
Drive continuous
improvement through data analysis and team
collaboration.
Promote strong
safety culture and deliver training to build staff
capability.
Provide expert
advice and mentoring to senior leaders.
Maintain clear
reporting, risk registers and stakeholder
communication.
Mandatory
Requirements:
Bachelor
qualification in Community Services, Quality Management,
Occupational Health and Safety, Risk Management or a related
field.
Proven experience
in a quality and safety leadership role, preferably within
community sector.
Strong
understanding of regulatory frameworks and standards (e.g.,
ISO, WH&S;,



clinical governance).
Demonstrated
success in leading improvement initiatives and managing
risk.

Ability to obtain a
Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or
exemption)
Ability to obtain a
Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption
notice)
