Why this role is important for us
The Lead Analyst, Client Representation at SimCorp, is one of two on-location representatives for Securities Operations in Sydney — SimCorp's first APAC-region on-site presence for the Investment Operations Services (IOS) team.
Working day-to-day alongside the Sydney Principal Analyst, this role owns first-line triage and resolution of client queries across all six Securities Operations domains (Trade Processing, Asset Servicing, Reconciliation, Delivery Excellence, Operational Data Management, and Claims & CSDR) for a portfolio of APAC asset management and managed-service clients, including one on-site managed-service (BPO) engagement.
This role depends on wide-ranging cross-domain expertise, effective relationship management, and close daily collaboration with teams in Manila and Noida.
The Lead Analyst provides backup coverage for the on-site SME function when the Principal Analyst is unavailable.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in securities operations or a client-facing operations position.
What you will be responsible for
Triage and resolve client queries across all six Securities Operations domains,



escalating only genuine exceptions to the Principal Analyst
Support client onboarding activities in the APAC timezone, coordinating readiness with delivery teams in Manila and Noida
Maintain the day-to-day feedback channel between clients and the relevant delivery team(s), ensuring issues and requirements are relayed accurately and promptly
Provide backup coverage for the Principal Analyst / on-site SME function, including attendance at governance or service-review meetings when required
Build and maintain working-level relationships with client operational and business contacts
Mentor and provide day-to-day guidance to regional support and coordination analysts working on the client relationship
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, escalations, and resolutions to support governance and audit requirements
Provide on-site oversight support for managed-service (BPO) operations in Sydney
Stay current on Securities Operations processes across all six functional domains to provide informed, business-aware support to clients and internal stakeholders alike
