The Place

Transit Rooftop Bar is about to reopen following an amazing renovation - and we're looking for confident, energetic Duty Managers to be part of the next chapter.

Set high above the city with incredible views across Melbourne and the Yarra River, Transit is all about excellent drinks, outstanding food, music, atmosphere and a team that genuinely enjoys what they do.

The Role

You'll work closely with the management team to deliver a seamless service, lead by example and help create the atmosphere that makes people want to come back.

Lead the team during service and keep things running smoothly
Deliver a warm, engaging and memorable guest experience
Be hands-on on the floor and lead by example
Keep an eye on the details - music, lighting, atmosphere, presentation and team energy
Train, coach and have a bit of fun along the way - helping the team become better,

more confident hospo professionals.
Assist with opens, closes and day-to-day venue operations

What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor or senior hospitality role
Strong service and operational experience
A genuine passion and knowledge for food, wine, cocktails and all things hospitality.

Outstanding communication and organisation skills
A genuine interest in creating atmosphere and delivering great hospitality
Positive, approachable and energetic - with a positive sense of humour
Comfortable working in a busy, multifaceted venue
Flexibility to work nights, weekends and public holidays

Be part of the exciting reopening of a completely renovated Transit Rooftop Bar
Professional, creative and fun working environment
Supportive management team
