About the role
The Road Delivery Lead is responsible for delivering road maintenance across Victorian freeways and arterial roads, including rehabilitation, resurfacing and routine works under the Victorian Road Maintenance Contract (VRMC).
The role also supports the preparation of high-quality project approvals in line with corporate requirements.
The position requires sound professional judgement, independent planning and prioritisation, and strong project and contract management skills.
It involves ensuring quality, compliance and best practice, managing risks and resources, preparing technical documents and reports, and working effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong communication, negotiation, teamwork and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential.
Works collaboratively to build strong, supportive relationships, share information and help others navigate challenges.
Plans strategically by connecting day-to-day work and team objectives to broader organisational priorities and outcomes.
Delivers projects effectively, translating strategy into action while managing governance, risks, resources and performance.
Thinks critically and commercially, using sound judgement to solve problems,

Qualifications and experience
You'llbring:
Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Asset Management and/or demonstrated experience in road maintenance, pavement management, construction, asset management or a related field.

Open to travelling to Bendigo (versatile work arrangements can be discussed)
