Salary:7% Above applicable award under the United Workers Union – Brompton Children's Centre Inc Collective Agreement ****, plus applicable grants and entitlements

About the role
The Director is responsible for the overall leadership, management and operation of the service, ensuring children receive exceptional care and education within a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment.
Working closely with the Assistant Director, Educational Lead, Finance Officer, Governing Committee, educators, families and the wider community, the Director will lead quality improvement initiatives, support staff development, ensure regulatory compliance and foster a strong culture of collaboration and continuous learning.

Key responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day operations of the service and act as Nominated Supervisor
Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families and the community
Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and service policies
Lead and support educators to deliver high-quality early learning programs
Drive continuous improvement and oversee the Quality Improvement Plan
Manage staffing, budgeting, enrolments and service administration
Support a positive, inclusive and child-safe culture
Provide leadership to achieve high-quality outcomes for children and families
About you
Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification
Experience in a Director, Centre Manager, Assistant Director or senior leadership role
Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Law and Regulations
Demonstrated leadership, people management and communication skills
Experience in budgeting, administration and operational management
Commitment to child safety, inclusion and community engagement
Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
