We are seeking an experienced, safety-focused HV Electrician with hands‑on maintenance and fault‑finding experience on Komatsu 830E and 930E haul trucks to join our maintenance team.

About the role

You’ll help keep mining equipment operating safely and reliably, working alongside maintenance and operations teams to diagnose faults, complete repairs and minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities:
Carry out scheduled and breakdown maintenance, electrical fault finding and repairs on Komatsu 830E and 930E haul trucks and associated mobile plant.
Inspect,



maintain and repair HV electrical systems in accordance with site procedures and statutory requirements.
Conduct HV switching operations within your authorisations and site requirements.
Complete accurate inspection reports and maintenance records using site maintenance management systems.
Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and maintenance practices.
Work closely with the wider team to deliver secure, efficient maintenance outcomes.

What you’ll need:
Relevant electrical trade qualification and current electrical licence.
Current HV switching qualification.
Proven experience maintaining and diagnosing electrical faults on Komatsu 830E and 930E haul trucks.
A strong background in mining maintenance and sound knowledge of mobile and fixed plant electrical systems.
Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11.
A solid commitment to safety, clear communication and a practical approach to problem solving.
