About the role
We're looking for an experienced retail leader to take ownership of ourYarrabilba storeand lead a small, hands-on team.
As Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall performance of your store from developing your team and delivering great customer experiences to driving sales, managing stock and maintaining high operational standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the shop floor, developing people and taking ownership of results.

Previous pet retail or animal care experience is a bonus, but not essential — a genuine love of animals and willingness to learn is what matters most.
Duties
Lead, coach and develop your team to achieve great results
Drive sales, KPIs and overall store performance
Maintain high standards across customer service, merchandising and store presentation
Manage rostering, wages, stock,



inventory and day-to-day store operations
Build strong relationships with customers and the local community
Skills & experience
Previous retail management or strong retail leadership experience
Confidence leading, coaching and developing a team
A good understanding of KPIs, budgets, wages and stock management
Robust communication and customer service skills
A hands-on approach and the ability to take ownership of store performance
Experience within the pet industry is not essential — we'll provide the training and support you need to build your product and animal care knowledge.
