PROJECT OFFICER - SHAREPOINT:
A purpose-led national industry body is seeking an experienced Project Officer to lead a SharePoint restructure and uplift information management practices.
This is ahands-ontemp role suited to someone who enjoys untangling messy document libraries, implementing practical governance, and bringing people along through clear training and guidance.
THE ROLE:
You will take ownership of a SharePoint improvement project end-to-end: discovery, options/recommendations, design, migration and training/change management.
Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will help standardise document storage, naming conventions and templates to improve usability, searchability and compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop a transparent project plan with deliverables and milestones
Assess the current SharePoint environment and identify issues, risks and opportunities
Provide options and recommendations for an improved structure and governance approach
Implement the approved approach, including:setting up new folder / site structures as required
auditing existing content and confirming correct location and naming conventions
determining correct document versions to retain
archiving / cleaning up redundant, obsolete or trivial content
Manage migration activities and validate accuracy/quality post-migration




Establish simple permission models and practical governance guidelines
Train staff and create user guides, quick-reference material and FAQs
ABOUT YOU:
Strong SharePoint capability (site/document library structure, permissions, migration processes)
Solid information/document management experience and exceptional attention to detail
Confidence working with stakeholders to clarify needs and drive adoption
Strong MS Office skills and documentation capability (templates, standards, version control)
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and provide weekly progress updates
Have a Working with Children Check or prepared to obtain
A National Police Check will be conducted
