The Royal Melbourne HospitalPhysiotherapy service employs over 100 staff providing services across the City Campus in Parkville and the Royal Park Campus.
We are looking for enthusiastic Physiotherapists to continue their career as a rotating Grade 1 Physiotherapist with the RMH Physiotherapy team.
We have a Full Time Permanent and Fixed Term position available, working 80 hours per fortnight (including ADOs).
Grade 1 Physiotherapists have the opportunity to rotate across both acute and sub-acute areas including acute medicine and surgery, ICU, orthopaedics, neurosciences, aged care and rehabilitation.
All rotations are well supported by skilled and passionate Senior Physiotherapists, who provide high quality patient care as part of a broader multi-disciplinary team.
Key Accountabilities
Plan and implement and efficient, effective, culturally responsive and client centred physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management.
Contribute to the operational needs of the department across a 7 day service model.
Comply with legal, qualified, ethical and other relevant standards, codes and guidelines.
Evaluate in an inclusive, cooperative, consultative, culturally responsive inter-professional and client centred model of practice.
About You
You will bring:
A recognised degree or equivalent qualification in Physiotherapy
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Experience working in a hospital setting or completion of a hospital-based student placement
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands
Well-developed interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
