About the Role
In this pivotalArea Sales Managerrole, you will take ownership of ahigh-profile Melbourne CBD territory currently delivering exceptional growth, covering a small and prestigious terriory including the CBD, Brunswick and Preston.
Reporting directly to the State Manager, you will join a high-performing team of 5 at an exciting point of growth, with responsibility forprotecting and accelerating the territory's momentum while expanding the customer base and increasing share of wallet across existing accounts.
Your mission will be to build trusted relationships withexecutive chefs, venue managers, procurement teams and key decision-makersacross hotels, restaurants, pubs, clubs, cafes and catering businesses.
You will showcase new product innovations, conduct product demonstrations and cook-ups, identify new business opportunities and work closely with customers to develop solutions that deliver both culinary and commercial value.
This is a territory with significant momentum, so you'll be joining an established customer base with a strong platform to build from, bonus and reward from, while having the autonomy to identify and unlock the next phase of growth.
About You




We are seeking either anaccomplished Sales/Account Management Professional with a strong Foodservice sales professional,looking to optimise their success and network to win.
You will bring:
Proven sales experienceacross foodservice, hospitality, FMCG or a related B2B environment.
Strong relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging executive chefs, venue managers, procurement teams and senior decision-makers.
A proven track record of territory growth, new business development and expanding existing customer accounts.
Commercial acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities, negotiate and convert them into sustainable revenue.
Confidence presenting and demonstrating products, including conducting product tastings, cook-ups and customer presentations.
A genuine passion for food and the hospitality industry, with the energy and drive to be highly visible in the market.
Strong territory management skills, with the autonomy and discipline to manage a high-performingVIC territory.
