Supported by sustained, controlled growth and a strong forward pipeline of work, Advanced Group is seeking an experienced Accounts & Administration Officer to join the team.
About the role
Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with our existing accounts team, you will support the day-to-day accounts functions across multiple businesses within the group.
Accounts is the primary focus of this role, with additional responsibilities supporting the day-to-day administration and smooth running of the office.
This position would suit an organised, detail-focused accounts professional who enjoys variety and working as part of a supportive team.
Key responsibilities
Process and maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
Assist with invoicing, payment processing and following up outstanding accounts.
Complete bank and account reconciliations.
Liaise with suppliers, customers and internal teams to resolve accounts queries.
Maintain accurate financial records across multiple businesses within the group.
Support the Financial Controller and accounts team with day-to-day tasks.
Manage incoming calls and general email enquiries, direct enquiries to the appropriate team members and welcome visitors.
Provide general administration and office support.
About you
You will bring:
Previous hands-on experience in an accounts role.
A completed qualification in accounting or bookkeeping, such as a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, diploma or relevant degree.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate work.
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Transparent communication skills and a professional, approachable manner.
A proactive approach and willingness to contribute across accounts and office administration.
Experience withJobpac and AroFlo is preferred but not essential.
