The Client:A National brand specialising in the cement and timber building industries, located in Carole Park.
What you'll be doing:As a forklift operator / Store Person you will complete a mix of Warehouse pick packing, forklift operation, receiving and despatch work.
This is a ***** role where half of your day will be spent not operating forklifts.
Your duties will include:
Operatingcounterbalance forklifts(LF ticket required)




Moving palletised stock from production areas to despatch
Loading and unloading of trucks and containers
Picking orders from racking and pick face areas
Manually picking of orders
Building packs for customer orders
Wrapping and strapping work
Heat string wrapping – able to be taught on the job
Palletising stock
General warehouse cleaning up of wrapping rubbish and discarding product boxes
Re stacking pallets
Heavy lifting up to 20 kgs
Matching paperwork to customer orders
Checking final paperwork against orders going out
What you'll need to succeed:You will have previous Store Person, pick packing and Counterbalance forklift operating experience.
Your experience will also include:
ValidLF Forklift license
Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting distribution centre is highly advantageous
Counterbalance forklift operating experience
Experience loading and unloading trucks
Pick packing experience
Experience palletising stock, wrapping and strapping of stock
Shrink wrapping experience
Be Physically fit – comfortable with manual handling and working in a team
Great attitude and reliability
