We areseeking a Planning Officer to join our Development Team and help deliverquality planning outcomes across the municipality.
You will work on a varietyof planning applications, provide advice to the public and developers, andcontribute to the sustainable growth of our region.
What you will be doing
Assessing andprocessing planning permit applications.
Providing planning advice to residents, developers and internal stakeholders.
Conducting site inspections and preparing reports and recommendations.
Assisting with planning scheme amendments and compliance matters.
Buildingpositive relationships with the community and development industry.
What you will bring
Aqualification in Town Planning, Urban Studies or a related field (or currentlystudying with relevant experience).
Knowledge of planning legislation and statutory planning processes.
Strongorganisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Well-developedcommunication and report writing skills.
A commitmentto customer service and continuous improvement.
A currentVictorian Driver Licence.




A PoliceCheck will be conducted on the preferred applicant.

What we offer?

Salary rangingbetween $78,873 and $89,807 per annum dependent upon qualifications andexperience plus 15% superannuation.
