About the role
The role of Educator Diploma is responsible for the provision of effective education and care that encourages positive learning outcomes and meets Council's objectives for continual learning.
This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
This role will see you:
be a positive contributor to the team and deliver high quality education and care in accordance with National Quality Framework/ CCC's policies and procedures
use your knowledge and experience to develop and implement customised educational programs in line with the EYLF learning outcomes and individual needs and interests of children
support the team, assist with problem solving, and offer great ideas to keep our activities fresh and relevant
build relationships with children,
families and carers to make them feel welcome and connected in our education and care community
take a responsible and professional approach to supervision of children and their overall wellbeing
complete relevant documentation and administration associated with the role
To be successful in this role, you will have:
a diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC***** / CH*****)
current Certificate in Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management
current Working with Children Check
current vaccinations required for the role - Boostrix (Whooping Cough, Tetanus, Diptheria); MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) and Hepatitis A & B or the commencement of these vaccinations prior to commencement
excellent communication skills, both written and oral
the ability to build effective relationships with staff, children, parents and other stakeholders.
This role provides a commencing salary range between $70.9K to $85.2K per annum dependent on skills and experience + 12% superannuation
We have two permanent full-time roles available, one at Niagara Park and one at Umina Beach
We have one temporary full time role based at our Toukley centre until January ****
These roles will be able to access a 19 day month
Successful candidates will be required to undertake a course of vaccinations against Hepatitis A and B, Tetanus (Boostrix), MMR and Varicella or demonstrate their immunity.
CMV screening will be required.
